Order flow

Problem statement

We have a solution for making payments online and make transactions through multiple merchant sites, but we do not have any setup for investing in stocks, etfs etc and we needed a gateway to invest through any merchant sites

Solution

Gateway is first of its kind to help users invest in stocks from their favourite merchant sites. it works just like a payment gateway but for stocks. we have major integration with India's most popular brokers. This allows non-brokerage platforms to offer smallcases to their base in a native manner. Similar to a net-banking payment gateway, web & mobile apps can enable transactions on smallcases as well as single stocks, ETFs in a non-intrusive yet compliant manner. What features can we provide?

Order flow for gateway

User would be able to place stock & ETF orders for one or more stocks with their broker in an exchange approved & complaint broker environment. The integration partner would be required to create an order config as input and would receive a transactionId with the intentded stock order config, using provided Gateway APIs.

The order flow basically works like this -> users confirms order -> a transaction is created & transactionId passed to client side sdk -> user prompt to select broker -> login with trading account -> review stock orders -> funds & holdings check -> stock orders sent to broker -> broker order executed order.

SST Widget (Entry point)

SST Widget acts as an entry point to gateway. The other entry points being inbuilt buttons with 'trade' ctas. sst widgets are apps that show stock/ETF information can have an Invest button as well as embed transactable smallcase widgets on their articles & stories to make their content actionable & more engaging for their readers. i also mapped all intersititial screens with proper success messages corresponding to different states.
